About Us

The Clackamas County Family Society is a service- educational organization dedicated to the collection and preservation of the heritage of Clackamas County, Oregon.

Your contributions may be tax deductible under current IRS rulings because CCFHS is a non-profit organization; with Foundation Classification of 501 (c) (3) Federal Tax ID#93-0960870

Research

Our volunteers are willing to research for you. Please send research request with your name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address if applicable..

In house research is $5.00 an hour with 1 hour minimum; off-site research which includes local public libraries is $10.00 an hour with 1 hour minimum. Photocopies are 25 cents a copy and postage will be determined when sent.

GIFTS AND DONATIONS - All gifts and donations are welcome and greatly appreciated by the society. You will receive a tax donation letter.

CLACKAMAS LEGACY - a quarterly publication with marriage and birth records; obituary and cemetery listings; probate; and family histories. All material submitted for publication will be appreciated and published as space permits and at the discretion of the Society.

NEWSLETTER - Our Newsletter is included in the Clackamas Legacy. It gives hints and a helping hand to the beginner as well as the advanced genealogist. Listing of upcoming events, seminars, meetings and interest group meetings.
